Refund policy

This Policy applies to purchases made from Kundan Art Jewels, a sole proprietorship owned and operated by Sagar Ahuja, through kundanartjewels.com.

We sell artificial, imitation and fashion jewellery. Please read this Policy before placing an order.

1. Return Eligibility

You may request a return within 30 days from the date of delivery.

A product will be eligible for return only if it is:

  • Unused, unworn and undamaged.
  • In its original packaging.
  • Returned with all tags, accessories and invoices.
  • Free from scratches, perfume, cosmetics, moisture, chemicals, alterations or signs of use.

All returned products will be inspected before a refund or exchange is approved.

2. How to Request a Return

3. Damaged, Defective or Incorrect Products

Please inspect your order immediately after delivery.

If you receive a damaged, defective, incomplete or incorrect product, contact us within 48 hours of delivery with:

  • Order number.
  • Product and packaging photographs.
  • Shipping-label photograph.
  • A description of the issue.
  • Unboxing video, where available or requested.

After verification, we may provide a replacement, exchange, store credit or refund.

Damage caused after delivery by water, sweat, perfume, cosmetics, chemicals, improper storage, misuse or normal wear and tear will not be treated as a manufacturing defect.

4. Non-Returnable Products

The following products cannot normally be returned:

  • Custom-made or personalised jewellery.
  • Products altered at the customer’s request.
  • Worn, used, damaged or incomplete products.
  • Products without original tags or packaging.
  • Earrings and other pierced jewellery for hygiene reasons, unless defective or incorrectly supplied.
  • Gift cards.
  • Products clearly marked as final sale or non-returnable.

Sale products may still qualify for a return when they are damaged, defective or incorrectly supplied.

5. Return Shipping Charges

For change-of-mind returns, incorrect selection or personal preference, return shipping charges will be paid by the customer.

For an approved damaged, defective or incorrect-product claim, we may arrange reverse pickup or reimburse reasonable return shipping charges.

Original shipping charges, convenience fees and Cash on Delivery charges are non-refundable unless the return occurred because of an error by Kundan Art Jewels.

Customers arranging their own return must use secure packaging and a trackable courier service.

6. Exchanges

Exchange requests must be submitted within the applicable return period.

Exchanges are subject to:

  • Product inspection and approval.
  • Stock availability.
  • Payment of any price difference.
  • Compliance with the return conditions.

If the requested replacement is unavailable, we may offer another product, store credit or a refund.

7. Order Cancellation

You may request cancellation before the order has been processed, packed or dispatched.

Cancellation cannot be guaranteed after an order has been packed or dispatched.

If an eligible prepaid order is cancelled before dispatch, the refund will be issued to the original payment method.

We may cancel an order due to product unavailability, payment failure, incorrect pricing, an incomplete or non-serviceable address, suspected fraud or circumstances beyond our reasonable control. Any eligible prepaid amount will be refunded.

10. Failed or Duplicate Payments

If an amount is deducted but an order is not created, the payment may be automatically reversed by the bank or payment provider.

For duplicate payments or amounts not automatically reversed, contact us with:

  • Customer name.
  • Payment amount and date.
  • Transaction ID or UTR number.
  • Payment screenshot.

After verification, any eligible amount will be refunded to the original payment method.

12. Customer Rights

Nothing in this Policy limits any consumer right available under applicable Indian law. Where applicable law provides a more favourable remedy, the legal requirement will apply.
